About

What is this?

Science is an absolutely amazing way of understanding the world around us. However, it is not always the easiest thing to understand. Some scientists do an amazing job of sharing their work but they tend to be the exception and not the rule. This is a space to learn more about exciting STEM news, learn about cool science facts, and get a better idea of what exactly scientists are doing.

Who is writing this?

My name is Guy Whittall-Scherfee and I am a scientist that spent his time in Academia focused on space plasma physics. My background is in physics but I love learning about anything science related, though I am biased towards space. I have a passion for science communication and love gushing about new science things. I may also rope in some other science folks that I know to write or help me fill in gaps that I have.

Hey, how does this work?

I have lots of ideas that I want to write about but I would love to get an idea of what you want to know about. If there is an idea you have or a concept you want to know more about, let me know! It could be about black holes, COVID, quantum physics, infinity, or anything else that you think sounds interesting!
